Title QRS Direct Trader

Primary Duties

The ultimate task of a QRS Direct Trader is net growth of plastic brokerage tons and associated net margin. This entails not only finding new tons available on the market but constantly finding new homes and long term partners to sell these tons to as well.

The QRS Direct Trader is responsible for all stages of communication with both the seller of the tons and the end-user. He is responsible for prospecting, evaluating, qualifying new opportunities, problem solving and ultimately closing. We are very much a team and are interested in bringing on individuals who are excited about collaboration with like minded peers in order to provide industry standard level service.

QRS Direct Traders are expected to develop and maintain a pipeline to achieve a minimum cumulative net margin that meets very realistic goals that are established for the 6, 12, and 24 month time period. The specifics of these will be discussed in the interview process.

Job Requirements

Proven track record in sales

Strong analytical capability

Experience in using Salesforce.com or other CRM program

Mastery of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook and develop proficiency in use of Recycling Operations Manager (ROM ) custom software.
